Launching tokens

Creator fees and links

Claim the creator fees of the tokens your Spinner launched, and add a Torch token's website, X and Telegram links.

The Spinner's wallet launches each token, so the Spinner is the token's creator. Its creator fees accrue to the Spinner's wallet, and the Spinner's account is the only one that can claim them. The fees stay with the Spinner: if you sell the Spinner, its fees and its wallet go to the buyer.

Where creator fees come from

LaunchpadCreator fees
PonsThe Creator tax that you set at launch, on every trade of the token.
TorchThe creator's share of the Buy tax, as the split that you set at launch says. Torch keeps 30% of the tax. With the split To the Spinner's wallet, all of the creator's 70% goes to the Spinner.

See Launching tokens for these terms. They are fixed for the token's life.

Claim creator fees

The Creator fees card is on the Spinner's Wallet tab. It shows when the Spinner has fees from Pons or a token on Torch.

  • Pons: one line shows the fees of all the Spinner's Pons launches together. Claim moves them, in ETH, to the Spinner's wallet.
  • Torch: each token has its own line, with the amount to claim. Claim on that line moves its fees, in ETH, to the Spinner's wallet.

Only the Spinner's holder can claim. Your wallet sends the claim through the Spinner's account, so you pay a little gas.

Claim Torch fees in time

Torch can sweep a token's unclaimed creator fees after 60 days without a claim or a new fee. The card warns you from day 50. Claim before day 60.

If the Spinner is no longer a Torch token's creator, its line says "The Spinner is no longer its creator.", and it has no Claim or Edit links.

A launch has no website, X or Telegram link: a strategy's launch has no fields for links. On Torch, the token's creator can set its links after the launch. The Spinner's account is the creator, so you set them through it.

On the Wallet tab, in Creator fees, find the token. Click Edit links.

FieldWhat to put
WebsiteA whole https:// link.
XAn account: @name, or its x.com link.
TelegramA group or channel: @name, or its t.me link.

Leave a field empty to remove that link.

Save

Click Save links. Spin writes the token's new metadata with these links. Your wallet then sends the change through the Spinner's account, for a little gas. Torch shows the links with the token.

Spin can change only the links of a Torch token that the Spinner launched, while the Spinner is still its creator.

Pons fixes a token's links when it launches, and nobody can change them later. A Spinner's launch has no fields for links, so a Pons launch has none, and it can never have any. If links matter for a token, launch it on Torch.
