The Spinner's wallet
Each Spinner has its own wallet. How to deposit and withdraw ETH and tokens, how gas works, and what the bot can and cannot do with the wallet.
Each Spinner owns a smart-contract wallet, a token-bound account (ERC-6551). The wallet belongs to the NFT. Whoever holds the NFT controls the wallet. The bot trades only from this wallet.
You manage the wallet on the Wallet tab of the Spinner's page.
The Spinner wallet card
The Spinner wallet card shows:
- Balance: the ETH in the Spinner's wallet.
- The wallet's address. Click it to open the wallet on the block explorer.
The address exists from the mint. The wallet contract itself is set up the first time that you withdraw or allow live trading. The app adds this step to your transaction for you. You can deposit before that.
Deposit ETH
- In Deposit, type an amount of ETH.
- Click Deposit.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet.
Anyone can send ETH to the Spinner's address from any wallet on Robinhood Chain. Only send on Robinhood Chain.
Withdraw ETH
- In Withdraw to your wallet, type an amount, or click Max for the full balance.
- Click Withdraw.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet.
The ETH goes to the wallet that holds the Spinner. Only that wallet can withdraw.
Tokens
The Tokens card lists the tokens in the Spinner's wallet: tokens that the bot bought live, tokens that it launched, and some common tokens of Robinhood Chain.
To withdraw a token:
- Type an amount next to the token, or click Max.
- Click Withdraw.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet.
The tokens go to the wallet that holds the Spinner.
If a token that you expect is not in the list, type its contract address in Another token and click Show.
If the Spinner launched tokens, a card for its creator fees also shows on this tab. Read Creator fees and links.
Gas
| Who sends it | Who pays the gas |
|---|---|
| You: deposits, withdrawals, live trading limits, activation | Your wallet |
| The bot: its live trades | The Spinner's wallet |
For each live trade, the guard pays back the gas of the trade from the Spinner's wallet. Keep some ETH in the Spinner's wallet for this, as well as the ETH to trade. If the wallet cannot pay for a trade and its gas, the trade does not go through. The bot page then shows a notice: "Too little ETH in the Spinner's wallet."
Paper trades use no ETH and no gas.
What the bot can and cannot do
The bot can use the wallet only through the guard contract, and only after you allow live trading. Read Live trading.
| Action | The bot |
|---|---|
| Trade on approved venues | Can, within your limits |
| Launch a token on an approved launchpad (eligible tiers) | Can |
| Pay the 0.5% trading fee and the gas of its trades | Can |
| Send funds anywhere else | Cannot |
| Withdraw from the wallet | Cannot |
| Change its own limits | Cannot. Only the holder can |
You can take the bot's key back at any time. Read Safety to learn how the guard works.
Before you sell a Spinner
The funds in the wallet go with the NFT. Withdraw them before you list the Spinner for sale. Read Transfers.
