Rarity and tiers
A Spinner's rarity sets the tools its bot can use, and $SPIN held in the same wallet can unlock higher tiers.
Rarities
Each Spinner has a rarity. The rarity shows as a lit platform under the character's feet. These are the shares of the collection:
| Rarity | Share of the collection |
|---|---|
| Common | 50% |
| Uncommon | 25% |
| Rare | 15% |
| Epic | 8% |
| Legendary | 2% |
One-of-one Spinners have the rarity Mythic. A Mythic Spinner has everything that a Legendary Spinner has.
Tiers of tools
The rarity decides the tier of tools that the bot can use. There are five tiers. Each tier keeps everything in the tiers below it.
| Tier | What the bot can use |
|---|---|
| Common | Presets exactly as they are made: a DCA of a listed token every 6 hours or once a day, at any amount; copy wallets; launch momentum |
| Uncommon | Presets with their numbers changed, for example a DCA of any token at any interval |
| Rare | Any strategy built from rules, without AI. AI only to launch a token (no MCP servers) |
| Epic | AI steps in entries or exits, and MCP servers |
| Legendary | A webhook trigger, and the USDG position |
The DCA tokens that a Common Spinner can buy are listed on Presets. To learn more about each tool, read Strategies, AI steps, MCP servers, Webhooks, Launching tokens and USDG position.
Hold $SPIN to unlock higher tiers
You can raise a Spinner's tier without a rarer Spinner. Hold $SPIN in the same wallet that holds the Spinner.
Each step up has a price:
| Step | $SPIN for the step |
|---|---|
| Uncommon | 5,000 |
| Rare | 10,000 |
| Epic | 25,000 |
| Legendary | 50,000 |
The steps above the Spinner's own rarity add up. For example, a Common Spinner needs 5,000 + 10,000 + 25,000 + 50,000 = 90,000 $SPIN for Legendary tools. A Rare Spinner needs 25,000 + 50,000 = 75,000 $SPIN for the same tools.
This table gives the $SPIN to hold for each tier, by the Spinner's own rarity:
| Rarity | Uncommon tools (5,000 a step) | Rare tools (10,000 a step) | Epic tools (25,000 a step) | Legendary tools (50,000 a step) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 5,000 | 15,000 | 40,000 | 90,000 |
| Uncommon | - | 10,000 | 35,000 | 85,000 |
| Rare | - | - | 25,000 | 75,000 |
| Epic | - | - | - | 50,000 |
Holding is enough. The $SPIN is not spent and not locked. The tier is the higher of the Spinner's rarity and what its holder's $SPIN unlocks.
Only the wallet that holds the Spinner counts
The $SPIN must be in the same wallet that holds the Spinner. $SPIN in a different wallet that you own, or in the Spinner's own wallet, does not count.
See your Spinner's tier
On the Spinner's page, open the Strategy tab. The Tools card shows:
- the tier that the Spinner has now,
- its rarity and the $SPIN that its holder's wallet holds,
- how much more $SPIN to hold for the next tier.
The strategy editor also shows the tier that your strategy needs, for example "Needs Rare tools; this Spinner has Common." If the Spinner's tier is too low, you cannot save the strategy. The editor tells you how much more $SPIN to hold.
If the tier goes down
The tier follows the $SPIN in the holder's wallet at all times. If you sell or move $SPIN out of that wallet, the tier can go down.
If the strategy then needs a higher tier than the Spinner has:
- The bot makes no new buys and no new launches, and it pauses.
- Sells still go ahead, so open positions can still exit.
- The bot page shows a notice that the strategy needs a higher tier.
To start again, hold enough $SPIN in the wallet, or change the strategy to one that the tier allows. Then turn the Bot switch back to Running.
A USDG position takes no new risk when the Spinner is no longer Legendary. After a grace period, it moves to Stable. You can always withdraw. Read USDG position.
