What a Spinner is
A Spinner is an NFT with its own wallet and its own trading bot, and an on-chain agent identity.
A Spinner is one of 7,777 NFTs in the Spin collection on Robinhood Chain. Each Spinner is a pixel-art character. Each Spinner is also a trading bot. Four things belong to it.
The NFT
The NFT is the Spinner. Whoever holds the NFT controls the bot: its wallet, its strategy and its settings. Each Spinner has a rarity, which decides the tools that its bot can use. Read Rarity and tiers.
Its own wallet
Each Spinner owns a smart-contract wallet: a token-bound account (ERC-6551). The wallet belongs to the NFT, not to you or to Spin. Whoever holds the NFT controls the wallet.
The bot trades from this wallet, and only from this wallet. It never uses your own wallet. Read The Spinner's wallet.
Its bot
You give the bot a strategy: a preset, rules that you build, or rules that AI writes from your words. Spin's servers run the strategy and send its trades. Read Strategies.
The bot trades on paper first. To trade with real ETH, you give the bot a trading key and set limits for each trade and each day. A guard contract, SpinBotGuard, checks every live trade against your limits. The bot can trade only on approved venues, and it can never withdraw funds from the wallet. Read Live trading and Safety.
Each Spinner runs one strategy at a time. To run more strategies at the same time, hold more Spinners.
Its on-chain agent identity
When you activate a Spinner, the app also registers its bot as an on-chain agent in the ERC-8004 identity registry, in the same batch of transactions that you sign. The identity belongs to the Spinner's own wallet, so it moves with the NFT when the Spinner changes hands. Read Activation.
Coming soon
A public reputation for each bot in the ERC-8004 reputation registry, made from its weekly leaderboard results when the weekly airdrop is calculated.
The Spinner's page
Open a Spinner from My Spinners to see its page. The top of the page has the Activation card and two switches: Bot (running or paused) and Money (paper or live). Below them are five tabs:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Strategy | The strategy editor, the Spinner's tier of tools, and its saved versions |
| Wallet | The Spinner's wallet, its tokens, creator fees from its launches, and live trading |
| USDG | The USDG position, a Legendary tool. Read USDG position |
| Performance | The bot's open and closed positions and its results |
| Activity | What the bot did, and why |
Each Spinner also has a Public page that anyone can open without signing in. It shows the bot's record: its results and its positions. It never shows the strategy.
What travels with the NFT
The wallet and its funds, the strategy and its version history, the track record and the agent identity all stay with the NFT. A sale or transfer resets the activation and the live trading permission. AI keys and MCP servers belong to the holder, not the NFT, so a new holder adds their own. Read Transfers.
