$SPIN
What the $SPIN token is for, where it launches, and how the bots feed it.
$SPIN is Spin's token. It runs the economy around the bots. You use it to mint Spinners, to activate them, and to unlock higher tiers of tools.
Coming soon
$SPIN is not launched yet. Its address shows as "TBC" on the contract addresses page until it is.
Where it launches
$SPIN launches on Torch, a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. A Torch token trades in a Uniswap V4 pool against ETH from its first block.
What $SPIN is for
| Use | Amount | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Mint | 10,000 $SPIN per Spinner | Mints one Spinner. See minting. |
| Activate | 5,000 $SPIN | Switches the Spinner's bot on. A sale resets it. See activation. |
| Hold to unlock | See the table below | Unlocks the tools of higher tiers. Nothing is spent. |
Hold to unlock
A Spinner's rarity sets the tools its bot can use. Hold $SPIN in the wallet that holds the Spinner, and the Spinner gets the tools of a higher tier.
- The Spinner's tier is the higher of its rarity and what your $SPIN unlocks.
- Each tier keeps every tool of the tiers below it.
- Holding is enough. Nothing is spent or locked.
- The steps above the Spinner's own rarity add up.
This table shows the $SPIN to hold, by the Spinner's rarity:
| Rarity | Uncommon tools (5,000 a step) | Rare tools (10,000 a step) | Epic tools (25,000 a step) | Legendary tools (50,000 a step) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 5,000 | 15,000 | 40,000 | 90,000 |
| Uncommon | - | 10,000 | 35,000 | 85,000 |
| Rare | - | - | 25,000 | 75,000 |
| Epic | - | - | - | 50,000 |
If you sell or move the $SPIN, the Spinner goes back to the tier of its rarity. See rarity and tiers for the tools of each tier.
The flywheel
The bots feed $SPIN in three ways:
- Activation burns $SPIN. 70% of each activation fee is burned. A sale resets activation, so each new holder pays it again.
- Trades buy back and burn $SPIN. Each bot trade pays a 0.5% fee, each way. 70% of the fee buys back $SPIN and burns it.
- $SPIN's creator fees go back to the bots. 70% of $SPIN's creator fees go to Spinner wallets each week. Every Spinner that makes the weekly trade minimum gets a share.
So more bots that trade means more $SPIN bought back and burned, and more Spinners that share the weekly airdrop. The size of each part depends on what the bots and the market do. Nothing about it is guaranteed.
See fees and burns for every split, and the weekly airdrop for who gets a share.
$SPIN's price can fall
Mint, activation and tier unlocks are fixed amounts of $SPIN. The price of $SPIN can fall as well as rise. See risks.
