Getting started

What you need to run a Spin bot, and the path from no Spinner to a bot that trades.

A Spinner is an NFT on Robinhood Chain. Each Spinner is a trading bot with its own wallet. You give the bot a strategy, Spin's servers run it, and a guard contract checks every trade that the bot sends.

What you need

  • A wallet on Robinhood Chain. You sign in to the Spin app with it. Read Wallet and network.
  • ETH on Robinhood Chain. Your wallet pays gas when you mint, activate, deposit or change settings. The Spinner's own wallet needs ETH to trade live and to pay the gas of its trades.
  • $SPIN. A mint costs 10,000 $SPIN for each Spinner, and activation costs 5,000 $SPIN. If you keep more $SPIN in the same wallet as the Spinner, the bot gets more tools. Read $SPIN.
  • An AI key (only for AI steps). Strategies with AI steps use your own key from an AI provider. Read AI keys.

From zero to a running bot

The quickstart gives each step in order. This is the path:

Know the risks

A bot follows its rules exactly. Many strategies lose money after costs, and memecoins can go to zero. Test on paper first, and only use money that you can afford to lose. Read Risks.
